G'evening JD and to your readers as well,

I oft deride USA's public education of the 21st century - indoctrination not education and so forth. Reading your post this afternoon and considering MY education of the 60's, it appears (due to my ignorance revealed today) the 20th century indoctrination was proceeding as well, with perhaps a slightly better, nationalistic intent in re-writing the history as I recall being taught. Alas, it appears that even prior to the 'Great Society' LBJ foisted on us, our education betters were well along creating nice little citizens guided to follow along and behave ourselves.

JD, thank you for your courage - yes truth telling in our times requires such - and offering of yourself in your Substack articles. I may not particularly like what is being revealed, but in looking around the country for which I served in the Armed Forces prepared to surrender my life for, am mostly saddened. It doesn't feel good being made a dupe - yet here we are in this 3rd decade of the 21st century. Ugh. Blessings good sir and friends - I am again reminded our life is proper if vested in the Lord - and am content to remain in Him. Best Regards, (WrH)

We visited Charleston two years ago. That visit upended my understanding of Lincoln and the Civil War. Leaders who run rough shod over the Constitution are not leaders at all. They are narcissistic, egotistical, power hungry tyrants. Power is the worst drug.
